Pastoral work is the core and the purpose of the Church's mission in the world, therefore for the Latin patriarchate principal aim is spiritual formation for all ages, family centers, youth activities, and services to various groups. Many young people belong to various apostolic movements such as scouts, Marian groups, different prayer groups, and many others.
All these movements and their activities are fully supported by the Patriarchate, which has the responsibility to enable them in their programs.
Across the Diocese of Jerusalem, which includes Jordan, Palestine, Israel, and Cyprus, there are many youth groups whose activities and gatherings usually increase during the Easter and Christmas season.
The youth in the diocese of Jerusalem need support, to help enable them to meet continuously and hold their activities, which help them grow in the faith, know their identity in Christ, and be true disciples of Christ in the society. Not to mention that these activities provide job opportunities for many of the children of the diocese.
