As part of its strategic plan for 2025, the Latin Patriarchate's General Administration in Jerusalem organized a special training course for its staff titled "The Art of Negotiation." The course took place from April 3 to 4, 2025, at the Ecumenical Institute of Tantur in Jerusalem and was led by Professor Jubran Said, an expert with extensive experience in training, negotiation, and international relations.
The course focused on enhancing the negotiation skills of the staff by reviewing effective negotiation techniques and strategies that help achieve mutually satisfactory solutions. It also emphasized the importance of building relationships based on trust and mutual respect, which contribute to facilitating agreements that reflect the values and principles upheld by the Catholic Church.
This course is part of a series of training programs aimed at developing the skills of the General Administration staff and enhancing their ability to engage with various issues and situations they may encounter in their job and daily tasks, thus supporting the Latin Patriarchate's goals at all levels.
