BEIT JALA – On Monday, February 19th, 2024, at the Annunciation Church, Mgr. Jamal Khader Daibes presided over a Mass of Thanksgiving for his Ecclesiastical service in the Holy Land, before starting his new mission as Bishop of the Diocese of Djibouti, at the invitation of Fr. Bernard Poggi, Rector of the Latin Patriarchal Seminary of Beit Jala. Concelebrating was the Former Latin Patriarch Michel Sabbah, Mgr William Shomali, General Vicar, Fr. Francesco Patton, the Custos of the Holy Land, His Excellency Bishop Mar Yacoub Ephrem Semaan as Patriarchal Vicar of the Syriac Catholic Church of Jerusalem, Holy Land and Jordan, Bishop Emeritus Giacinto-Boulos Marcuzzo, and His Eminence Archbishop Theodosios Attallah Hanna, bishop of Sebastia of the Church of Jerusalem, as well as a large number of Priests and Sisters; In the presence of the faithful, who attended from the different regions of Palestine.
