AGIAMONDO in collaboration with the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem is looking for a highly motivated, dynamic and results-oriented professional.
Title of position: Analysis, Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation (APME) Officer – full time position
Placement: Jerusalem, with frequent travels to various parts of Palestine (Westbank) and Israel
As the German Catholic agency for international cooperation, AGIAMONDO implements the Civil Peace Service Program (CPS) under the umbrella of the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem working with faith based and non-governmental organisations. It involves the deployment of specially trained personnel, Civil Peace Workers (CPS Worker), to different independent partner organizations. Now Civil Peace Workers are seconded to partner organisations in Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Ramallah, Tel Aviv, Haifa and Galilee.
Scope of the role:
The APME advisor will be responsible to provide technical support to AGIAMONDO’s CPS partners and the country coordinator to plan, monitor and evaluate the country program and projects using Managing outcomes, an outcome-oriented APME approach based on Outcome Mapping/ Outcome Harvesting. He/she will support context and conflict analyses, country strategy development, program and project proposals as well as progress reporting processes. He/she advises partners, CPS Workers and the coordinator on using the digital monitoring and knowledge management platform. He/she will report to and work under the supervision of AGIAMONDO-CPS country coordinator. He/she will be part of the AGIAMONDO international APME Community of Practice for the further development of Managing Outcomes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Science with a focus on Project Management (Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation) in peacebuilding and/or development
- Two (2) years’ work experience in Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation of peacebuilding and/or development projects. Experience with Outcome Mapping and Outcome Harvesting and digital PME tools will be an added advantage.
- Excellent facilitation skills and experience in working with dynamic groups applying participatory methods and tools. Knowledge and experience in gender- and conflict-sensitive project management (e.g. Do no Harm approach) will be an added advantage.
- Very good organizational skills to meet deadlines with minimum supervision.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience in designing joint learning tools and didactic materials in the APME context will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge and experience with digital APME Tools will be an added advantage.
- Languages: English – excellent writing skills, good speaking skills, Hebrew and Arabic - good communication skills in both languages.
- Israeli Driving License
- Willingness to travel frequently.
